It’s letting me! It’s letting me! I can post about little_terry!

little_terry is probably my best 43T friend and is the 43T-er I am most likely to meet. Every time I see she’s posted something, it makes me happy. She’s just the right degree of sentimental mom combined with insightful woman who sees the world with utter unsentimental clarity and reflects it back to us with tongue in cheek. She’s also phenomenally inspiring with her absolute dedication to staying fit and encouraging others who are trying to do so.

The pressure! For months I’ve wanted to post about little_terry and now I can’t think how to convey how wonderful she is.

I’m just happy to at last be able to declare my admiration for her!

I am awed by how Catherineaq lays out her heart on 43things. Whether she’s commenting on clover lawns, other people’s goals, or her family, her posts are intelligent, funny, and explode into my consciousness. To follow her posts is to see far further into her life than most people I know in the rw. I’m grateful for the window she shares with all of us. I know she makes my life richer and more thoughtful.

Greyskye becoming Blue:

• Finally explained to me that women who look as good as she does, work their butts off to get there, and, very key, have a tight maintenance schedule to abide by.

• Is a wonderful running buddy, whose company I sorely miss.

• Charms the diapers off my toddler, sending him into screaming peals of laughter.

• Is a dynamic (as well as hot) librarian, still yet in pursuit of a job that will actually utilize her talent and energy.

• Can teach you to walk in high heels, when needed.

• Covets my cowboy boots. (You know you do.)

• Inspires me with her grumpy and good humored approach to life, and the patience and love she displays for others, but rarely acknowledges.

because I keep flirting with his wife. But it’s so good for her self esteem I just can’t help myself.

Cygnet can create small German Shepherds from just yarn and knitting needles. (Non-edible.)

Cygnet has explored every branch of the tree of religion, but still has a sense of humor about it and a commitment to her faith that I find heart warming.

Cygnet has an ability to laugh at herself that is surprising in someone self conscious.

Her Pop pop made her a quilt that she’d still use if her cats didn’t want to puke on it.

Best of all, Cygnet knows how to be a great friend: she laughs at my jokes, she plays with my child, and she knows whether to take my druken threesome conversations seriously or not.

And someday, she too will be a hot librarian.

little_terry is little not because she literally is little, but because she’s basically a shy person who likes people. Basically a human version of piglet from Winnie the Pooh. But a little more assertive.

I want to meet little_terry because she sounds like a hoot! I love fun people!!!
